Looking to play badminton in Wales? Here at Badminton Wales we want to support anyone who wishes to play. Wherever you choose to play, whether it be in a club, with family, in a social group or in education. We have a vision that sees all generations of players enjoying our sport, for life.
Badminton Wales offers a whole selection of memberships designed to cater for a range of players of varying ability:
Individual Membership
For players who wish to play competitively as an individual in a league or tournament.
Membership Fee:
£10 – Juniors
£20 – Seniors
Club players also sign up here, just select your club from the list of Affiliated Organisations.

Club Coaching Membership
For individuals who wish to lead coaching sessions in a club setting (Includes the Individual membership).
Coaching Membership Fee – £30
You will need a recognised Coaching Award (BWF/UKCC etc), a valid DBS and a recognised Safeguarding course.

- Personal Injury Insurance including physio cover.
- Access to all Badminton Wales tournaments.
- Discounted spectator entry to the Welsh International.
- CPD – further coaching support.
- Quarterly Coaching Collective event.

- Bwletin filled with the latest at Badminton Wales.
Independent / Professional Coaching Licence
For individuals who wish run paid coaching sessions independent of club settings.
You will need a recognised Coaching Award (BWF/UKCC etc), a valid DBS and a recognised Safeguarding course.
