2023 has been a very busy year for the Welsh Badminton community!
We have had a number of successful membership roadshows as well as Junior & Senior tournaments.
We have adopted a new organisational Strategy and recruited new colleagues, who have all hit the ground running, helping support the growth of Badminton across the country.
Coming in early 2024, we have Junior Series events, Senior Nationals and Graded events. All of which you can enter on our website.
Jack Wilson will continue his push to qualify for Paris 2024 and we will keep you up to date on how our very talented young performance players are doing, as they look to continue their impressive development.
In education, we will have the newly rebranded National Schools Championships, as well as our Shuttle Time competitions to look forward to, with schools around Wales all pushing to qualify for the finals.
Our Safeguarding team will be making sure that everything we do builds towards making Badminton a safer sport for everyone. From the very top of our performance programme to our grassroots clubs and volunteers; Safer Badminton is everyone’s responsibility.
The BWF coach education we deliver, will continue to ensure all new coaches have the skills and motivation to help develop the next generation of players from within our clubs and academies.
2024 looks to be another big year for our great sport and with the continued support of everyone in the community, the Badminton Wales TEAM are really excited to continue to push forward.
