Badminton Wales has four regional community managers to assist the development of clubs and badminton in their regions.

Racket Room
The Racket Room aims to reuse and redirect unwanted rackets and trainers to individuals who require them to start their badminton journey.
By donating to The Racket Room, you will be;
• Supporting badminton, your local community and those who need it most.
• Enabling individuals to begin their badminton journey by removing some of the financial barriers associated.
• Reduce our impact on the environment and avoid adding to landfill issues.
Affiliated Clubs have access to the Racket Room donations which can help a child get on court.

Clwb Mark Accreditation
What is Clwb Mark?
A tiered affiliation and accreditation initiative created to ensure competitive clubs are sustainable, supported and have the structure to grow and increase badminton participation at their club and across Wales. The initiative also aims to support the creation of an enhanced club structure that enables players to be the best they can be, and for the most talented and committed, the opportunity to access and engage with the Badminton Wales Player Development Pathway and Performance Programme (BWPP).
The Clwb Mark affiliation is a kite mark for those clubs that contribute to the Badminton Wales Community. It provides a framework for clubs that are keen to get more people playing, improve their players and contribute growth of badminton all over Wales with support from the Badminton Wales TEAM.
It shows that a club provides the right environment, which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives. A Badminton Wales Clwb Mark accredited club is recognised as a “safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they’re choosing the right club for their young people”.
Sport Wales “Be Active Wales” Fund
The Be Active Wales Fund is available to help clubs and groups get more people participating, both now and in the future. It’s open to not-for-profit sport clubs and organisations delivering community sport and physical activity in Wales.
As a GUIDE ONLY, some applications are likely to focus on:
• Using technology to engage more participants, such as providing online sessions, or using online tools to help with income generation
• Coach education at Level 1 where there is a proven need
• Upskilling of volunteers where the club has gaps in skills or experience
• Equipment that enables more people to take part
• Different and innovative ways in which the activity can be delivered
• Approaches that target specific underrepresented groups
