Welcome to Wales’ International Badminton Championships!
The Welsh International Badminton Championships is the showstopper in the Badminton Wales events calendar. Worldwide players travel to Wales to battle for vital world ranking points in a display of some of the best badminton in the world. Play is livestreamed across the world and this year returns to Sport Wales National Centre from the 29th Nov – 3rd December 2022.

The lists with players & pairs for the main draw and qualifications have now been processed and can be seen here.
After the entry deadline, based on the number of entries, the provisional schedule has been changed:
Tuesday 29th November
From 9am: MS & WS 1st & 2nd round qualification
Wednesday 30th November
From 9am: MS & WS 3rd & 4th round qualification and MD & XD 1st & 2nd round qualification
Thursday 1st December
From 9am: 1st round main draw
The tournament will be played on 4 courts instead of 5.

During the event, play will be conducted on five badminton courts with bleacher seating for 600 spectators.
