Selection Information
Badminton Wales is committed to selecting players from this age group as part of the on-going athlete development process. In so doing, Badminton Wales will strive to select players that clearly show a strong potential to achieve a high level of performance in line with the Badminton Wales Performance Pathway objectives.

Event Information
The Graded International is a Senior Graded event held in successive years between the 4 Home Nations (England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales). The Graded International provides Badminton Wales members a chance to represent Wales at their current level of Play. Individuals are each graded into one of 4 grades and ranking points are earned by competing in the 4 BW Graded events throughout the year. Selection criteria and full regulations can be found on the BW website!
Selection Information
Selection will be made by the selection committee based on the following criteria:
- Results | How well the individual has performed at the BW sanctioned tournaments they have entered irrespective of the number of tournaments played.
- Commitment | How many BW sanctioned tournaments has the individual competed in.
- Rankings | Combines results and commitment into a metric.
- Adherence to code of conduct principles | Shown good sportsmanship and attitude both on and off court whilst adhering to code of conduct.
Selection will be made in reasonable time prior to the event date.
