National Badminton Partnership
We are proud to announce that we are partnering up with National Badminton, a company set up by Julie Bradbury to provide the opportunity for young players to take part in our great sport and give Badminton Wales educated coaches a structure to help them get started. If you’d like to coach in Wales with National Badminton, email enquiries@badminton.wales and we will work with you to get started.
Entering International Competitions
Entering International Competitions is now easier than ever thanks to the Sport:80 membership system. Players wishing to enter any BEC or BWF tournament must now go through the “International Tournament Entries Service” which is now active on their personal profile at https://badmintonwales.sport80.com

Website Club Locator
In March we will be activating the Sport:80 club locator which will be linked to our site. This will make it easier for players to find your clubs and contact you to join. Your club admin needs to log in the system and update the details in the “Locator Preferences” section of the “Organisation Affiliation” section.

PERFFORMIAD | PERFORMANCE

The U13 Celtic Challenge team travelled to Dublin from the 23-25th Feb to compete with the best players in Leinster, Ulster and Lothian. For the first time in a long time the Welsh team was represented by 6 players from the South and West and 6 players from the North. While we weren’t able to register any team wins we had a very young team which augurs well for the future. A huge thank you o all the parents for their support and especially Sharon Kite and Josh Hart who looked after them so well.
