4Nations Para International 2024 (Scotland, Glasgow)
The 4 Nations Para Badminton Championships 2024, a Grade 2 / Level 1 tournament within the BWF Para Badminton World Circuit.
This event is staged with the generous support of UK Sport in collaboration with Badminton England, Badminton Ireland and Badminton Wales – hence the 4 Nations name.
Scotland are extremely excited to have this opportunity in 2024, which will be one of the last competitions before the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Scotland will be hosting the event in 2024 in the Emirates Arena, Glasgow.

Badminton Wales are pleased to announce the next BWF Level 1 Badminton Coaching course for 2024.
COURSE VENUE

Wednesday 8th May
Introduction Online Zoom/Teams
Weekend 1 May
Saturday 18th – Sunday 19th 2024
Tuesday 18th June
Interim Online Zoom/Teams
Weekend 2 July
Saturday 13th- Sunday 14th 2024
The course will begin each contact day at 09:00 and will likely finish at approximately 17:00 each day.
Courses can only run with a minimum of 8 participants.
The cost will be £350 and a deposit of £100 will secure one of the limited spots. Closing date for receipt of applications is Wednesday 8th May.
If we have not received 8 applicants this course will not go ahead.
To complete the BWF Level 1 course, ALL components of the course needs to be completed by the second weekend. The course is divided as follows.
1) Register and pay deposit of £100.
2) Register with BWF and complete Online Component before weekend 1 (Cert to be e mailed to BW prior to end of weekend 1)
3) Complete Pre course questionnaire and multiple choice questions.
4) Attend pre course Zoom (Wed evening 2 weeks before commencement of Weekend 1)
5) Attend both weekends in their entirety, plus online sessions.
6) Have the ability to deliver between 6 and 8 coaching sessions between weekend 1 and weekend 2.
7) Complete Candidate Assessment Pack before the second weekend. (Feedback can be given during mid course Zoom).
8) BEC Course sign off 1 week after the conclusion of Weekend 2
